We've been shortlisted for our response to the Covid crisis

Your TFN has been shortlisted for a prestigious magazine publishers’ award!

The publication is up for a special commendation in this year’s PPA Scotland awards.

TFN has been shortlisted in the Best Initiative In Response To Covid-19 category.

This reflects how publications have changed and adapted to react to the coronavirus category.

In March, we made the decision to pause printing our magazine and to move to a new e-reader format.

This allowed us to keep up publication at a time when huge parts of the sector had moved out of offices and could no longer access the printed mag.

It also allowed us to extend and deepen our reporting and analysis of the herculean efforts the voluntary sector has made to respond to the pandemic.

The format has been a huge success. Proving popular with both readers and advertisers and allows us to fulfil our remit of informing and supporting the sector.

During this time we have also undertaken a thorough redesign and have launched a brand new, daily updated website.

Winners of the PPA awards will be announced on December 3

You can see the full shortlist here.

Well done Graham et al. I might not agree with all the content but you have all worked extremely hard to support the sector and all those involved in it. Best of luck with the award and for the future. And thanks for all you do
