Is Christmas too commercial?

This poll is about 7 years old

Christmas seems to get earlier and earlier, but that just gives us more time to shop!

Whether it's which retailer has the best Christmas advert to who has the best Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals, the talk at this time of year is all about buying stuff. When the contents of a letter to Santa will set you back more than December's mortgage, it's time to wonder whether it's all got a bit of hand. Has Christmas shopping become the main event? Has it gone too far? What do you think?

Please leave a comment to tell us how much you'll be spending this Christmas.

It's time we remembered the real reason for Christmas, advertising very early, young children don't understand timescales and it seems ages to them, advertising should only start at the beginning of December and definitely no music in the shops till then!!!
