On Thursday the Scottish Government announced a package of support, including a payment to some households across Scotland to tackle the rising cost of energy.

Last year, the Assembly set out 16 goals and 81 recommendations for how Scotland should tackle the climate emergency in a fair and effective way. 

 
The findings come after it was announced that April’s energy price cap rise is set to add £693 to average household costs.
