Inspiring Volunteer Awards 2021
Last year, for obvious reasons and to our great disappointment, we were not able to host our annual Inspiring Volunteer Awards. However, we are delighted to announce that we are opening nominations for 2021.
As always every volunteer who is nominated will receive a certificate, and subject to the continuing relaxation of restrictions we also hope to welcome a number of specially selected volunteers to an event hosted by Edinburgh’s Lord Provost and Volunteering Champion, the Rt Hon Frank Ross at the City Chambers.
This event is normally held during Volunteers’ Week (1 to 7 June), however to maximise the chances of it being a live, in-person event, we have delayed it this year until Wednesday 28 July. Obviously, plans for the evening are subject to any changes to restrictions imposed as a result of the pandemic.
Nominate Now!
Nominations are open and organisations can nominate by completing our online nomination form form (also accessible by clicking on the button in the sidebar or below).
Organisations are able to nominate up to three individual volunteers, one team of volunteers, up to three nominations for the Ian McInnes Award, and one nomination for the Paul Bennett Volunteer Manager of the Year Award.
Please note that nominations close on Friday 4 June 2021.
Some lucky nominees will be invited to accept their award at the City Chambers, others will receive a certificate in the post.
Please help us to promote the awards nominations using the promotional materials provided in the downloads box in the sidebar (more to follow) and use the short url voled.in/nominations.
