Trustee roles and responsibilities with Gillespie Macandrew

Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations

This event is in the past

This online event is part of a series of free lunchtime webinars for SCVO member organisations and members of the SCVO Trustee Network. Lianne Lodge, Partner and Head of Charities at Gillespie Macandrew, will provide an overview of the role and the key legal responsibilities of a charity trustee. There will be lots of time for you to ask questions and share your own experiences, so you can learn from fellow trustees. You will also find out how to get access to further support and useful templates and toolkits.

Overall aim

This webinar will help charity trustees understand what to expect and what is expected of them when they join a board. It will help you on your journey to good governance and equip you with the essential knowledge to give you the confidence to carry out your role effectively.

Who is the event aimed at?

This webinar is for anyone who is new to being a trustee or is considering joining a board. It is also for anyone who has been a trustee for some time but would like a refresher.
