This event is in the past

Join Scottish Recovery Network as we explore what peer facilitators need to ensure peer groups are a great experience for all.

About this event

For people experiencing mental health problems, and their families, peer support groups provide a safe and mutual space to build relationships and feel connected. They are a key factor for many people in their wellbeing and recovery.

So what is it that makes the difference? This event is for anyone based in Scotland who is involved in participating, facilitating and/or keen to develop peer support groups. It will create a space for us to learn from each other and share ideas of what works when facilitating e.g.

What makes a group peer?

What makes your peer group awesome?

What have you learned that you would like to share with others?

Come and share your experiences and expertise as we celebrate the power of peer!
