Energy and Net Zero Conference
Scottish Federation of Housing Associations
This event is in the past
In the midst of a global energy crisis and climate emergency, the dual challenge of reducing fuel poverty while also reducing our impact on the environment has become an urgent priority.
With the review of the Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing now underway, and ambitions for all social sector homes to become ‘net zero’, the principles of a just transition must be central to the approach, ensuring tenants are treated fairly and not faced with unaffordable energy costs.
SFHA’s 2022 Energy and Net Zero Conference will explore solutions to the affordable warmth challenges which many will face this winter alongside the support needed to deliver the transition to net zero in a fair and just way.
This will showcase examples of collaborative and tenant led projects, included those being delivered by SFHA strategic partners and sponsors Changeworks and Warmworks, and the funding and finance mechanisms needed to support retrofit activity at scale.
