This event is in the past
This is a series of three bespoke ‘leadership conversations’ for The National Lottery Community Fund grant holders.
Join the Founder of Diversity Scotland, Tony McCaffery, for these sessions designed to facilitate conversation, and increase awareness, knowledge and skills around diversity, equity and inclusion. Each 90 minute online session aims to empower and enable you to drive cultural change within your organisation and in your interactions with your external stakeholders.
The intention is that delegates attend all three sessions, dates as follows:
Tuesday 25th April, 12:30-14:00
Thursday 11th May, 12:30-14:00
Tuesday 6th June, 12:30-14:00
The focus of these sessions is on knowledge - the key to building our confidence to influence, creating truly inclusive cultures. The content is based on robust research and expertise to ensure the maximum impact for delegates and will include the following:
- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: What's it really about?
- Examining power and privilege
- Marginalised, minoritised and under-represented groups in Scotland today
- Using inclusive language
- Conscious inclusion and effective allyship
There will also be opportunities to discuss the actions you can take within your organisation to increase diversity, advance equity and foster inclusion, as well as what commitments you can make to facilitate change within the sector as a whole.
