This event is part of a series of five free communication skills workshops organised by Fife Climate Hub and Climate Action Fife. They are open to anyone who is working to create a positive impact on the climate emergency. Recordings will be available online after the workshop.

What will the session cover?

Explore techniques and best practices to harness the power of social media for your group.

Learn how to create a social media planner and tailor posts to specific channels and audiences.

How to share posts and join groups, as well as how to tap into wider networks such as Fife Communities Climate Action Network and Climate Action Fife

There will be a chance to ask questions at the end. (30 minutes)

At the end of the session you will have:

A clear understanding of how to plan and implement a social media strategy for your community group.

Who is the event for? Who is delivering it?

The workshops are open to community groups working on climate issues in Fife. They are aimed at beginners. There is plenty of time to ask questions and learn more about each topic. It will be delivered Andrea Harrower from Greener Kirkcaldy and Climate Action Fife's communication team explores techniques and best practices to harness the power of social media for your group. Learn how to create a social media planner and tailor posts to specific channels and audiences.
