This event is part of a series of five free communication skills workshops organised by Fife Climate Hub and Climate Action Fife. They are open to anyone who is working to create a positive impact on the climate emergency. Recordings will be available online after the workshop.
What will the session cover?
Have you tried getting your activities into the press but been unsuccessful?
This workshop will help you to engage with the press and media outlets to share your message effectively.
Learn how to write a press release, grab the attention of busy journalists and get them to publish your release.
There will be a chance to ask questions at the end. (30 minutes)
At the end of the session you will have:
A better understanding of how to get your events and actities into the media
A template to create a press release
Who is the event for? Who is delivering it?
This session will be delivered by Fife Climate Hub's Communications Lead. Andie Habeshaw. The workshops are open to community groups working on climate issues in Fife. They are aimed at beginners. There is plenty of time to ask questions and learn more about each topic.
