ACOSVO Members Event: Pause for Thought
ACOSVO
Join us for ACOSVO's 2024 Member's event: Pause for Thought!
As I write this, we are acutely aware of the pressures leaders are under, we hear about it, and we see it. The context we are leading in continues to be uncertain, uncomfortable and is presenting us with complex problems. Amongst leaders we are seeing courage, passion and unwavering strength but we are also seeing frustration, overwhelm, and tiredness. How can we articulate our collective insights to cultivate new thinking and what questions do we need to ask ourselves as well as others?
Taking time to enhance our understanding, share our experiences and discuss possibilities with each other is critical for the future of our leadership, our organisations and the people we serve.
I invite you to join your leadership peers at this ACOSVO Members only event to spark new thinking, build our connections and Pause for Thought.
Lucinda Godfrey, ACOSVO CEO
This is an opportunity to pause, reflect, and engage in meaningful discussions with lots of time and space for networking. Following on from Lucinda and our context setter we will also hear from Martin Crewe, Director of Barnardo’s Scotland who has recently published research about how to be an effective charity CEO. Martin will create the space for you to reflect on your own leadership and consider with so many competing priorities how do you identify mission critical? How to think about the role and what leadership approaches can you adopt in order to be an effective charity leader.
This event is one not to be missed and we hope to see you there!
