Lunchtime learning: Improving cyber awareness

SCVO

Almost one in three UK charities experienced some form of cyber security breach or attack in the past year. Organisations of all sizes are increasingly relying on digital tools and services. Sadly, this means it is not a case of if you will experience a cyber incident but when.

Get staff and volunteers switched on. SCVO has recently launched a cyber awareness campaign to help third sector organisations communicate four key cyber principles to their people over the next year to help minimise overall cyber risk.

Join this short session to run through the new campaign and learn a fun way to engage staff and volunteers on the importance of good password management.

Overall aim

Staff and volunteers are using digital systems every day. Giving them the right awareness and training to spot cyber risks and take appropriate action is key.

Only 18% of UK charities have some form of cyber staff training in place, today we will discuss how you can effectively promote cyber resilience within your organisation and learn more about our first theme - strong password.

Who is the event aimed at?
