SCVO Comms Network meet-up: social media share and learn
SCVO
Social media has been a main communication channel for many charities and voluntary organisations for the last decade. But recent changes to X and Meta are making many organisations question their future on those channels.
Being responsible for social media just now can feel tough. Everyone has an opinion. And you feel the weight of doing the right thing.
Come along to hang out with like-minded people, to share where you are with social media, and to hear what others are up to too.
You will be sent a confirmation email of your booking. You will then receive the exact meeting location via email the week before the event along with any other relevant information. The venue will be a city centre cafe in Edinburgh, close to transport links.
OverviewThis is an informal, peer-support session. The topic for the meet-up is social media.
There’s been a lot going on, so there should be lots to talk about!
It’s an opportunity to share your experiences and learn from others.
Overall aimWe know our members want more opportunities to network and learn from each other. And we know you are hungry for more opportunities to do this in-person.
Sharing experiences can help us consider different perspectives and explore new options.
This is an opportunity for people interested or involved in corporate social media to come together to share and learn.
Who is the event aimed at?The session is for anyone working or volunteering at an SCVO member organisation who is interested or involved in the strategy, planning and delivery of corporate social media activity.
