SCVO Comms Network: strategic social media planning with Tereza Litsa

SCVO

Fully booked

Social media has been a main communication channel for many charities and voluntary organisations for the last decade. But recent changes to X and Meta are making many organisations question their future on those channels.

Being responsible for social media just now can feel tough. Everyone has an opinion. And you feel the weight of doing the right thing.

So, how do you know what’s best?

That’s what we’ll be covering in this session: how to step away from all the noise and focus on what really matters.

Overview

How is your organisation adapting to the changing social media landscape? If you are feeling over-whelmed, stuck or struggling, this session is for you.

Social media consultant and LinkedIn trainer, Tereza Litsa, will get you help you step back from the hype and think strategically about what is right for your organisation.

Overall aim

In this one-hour session, Tereza will share some of her experience and expertise with us, and introduce the CharityComms Social Media Platform checklist - a resource to help you make strategic decisions about whether your organisation should join, stay, or leave a social platform.

The overall aim is for you to leave the session feeling more confident about how to go about developing a social media strategy that supports your organisation’s objectives.

Who is the event aimed at?

The session is for anyone working or volunteering at an SCVO member organisation who is interested or involved in the strategy, planning and delivery of corporate social media activity.
