Developing your Fundraising Plan

GCVS

Are you constantly chasing grant funding for your core running costs? Do you want to improve financial sustainability for your community group or voluntary organisation? Then you need a fundraising plan, and we’re here to help!

In this short course, our resident fundraising expert will guide you through all the core aspects of building an effective fundraising plan so that you can achieve long-term sustainability.

Together, we will explore a range of tools and tactics to help you:

- maximise your fundraising efforts

- adapt in an unpredictable funding landscape

- make the best use of limited resources

We are delighted to share two options to help you get the support you need.

Morning Only

£60 or Free with our Funded Support for Glasgow Organisations

The morning session covers foundational knowledge and key components of any fundraising plan. We will introduce the concept of the fundraising audit, and explore creative approaches to diversify income streams, motivate giving and encourage whole team collaboration for maximum impact.

Full Day Course

£110 Includes lunch and exclusive template tools and guidance

Our full day course builds on the introductory themes covered in the morning session and offers practical support to start building your tailored fundraising plan. We will consider your long-term organisational vision, strategy and budgets and work through stages of the fundraising audit using worked examples. Through our exclusive template tool, we will demonstrate how to create an adaptable action plan that fits your needs.

Who should attend

These sessions are primarily for third-sector leaders or anyone responsible for fundraising or income generation in their voluntary organisation. We highly recommend taking the opportunity to join the full day to get the maximum benefit from your time with our Funding Advice Officer and network with peers in the sector.
