Handling Difficult Conversations with confidence

This session will be delivered by Fiona Davies, People and Safety Services Manager. Fiona is a ILM Level 7 qualified coach and will guide you through how to have difficult conversations. It can be daunting when faced with a difficult conversation. You may be worried about upsetting your employee or you may be concerned that you will affect the relationship you have with them. You may be worried about dealing with emotions when having that difficult chat.

This session is aimed at anyone with line management responsibilities. Using coaching skills we will cover:

how to reframe your mindset around difficult conversations

tools to help you manage a difficult conversation

how to manage your emotions and the emotions of your employee

Opportunity to discuss your own experiences and chat through possible solutions with your peers
