New chief executive for leading housing association

​West of Scotland Housing appoints new chief executive

Lynne Donnelly has been appointed as the new chief executive of the West of Scotland Housing Association (WSHA).

Currently operations director at Partick Housing Association Limited, Donnelly brings 30 years of housing sector experience to the role.

In her most recent position, she was responsible for three key business areas: housing management, maintenance and factoring and ensuring a quality service was delivered to 1,750 customers and over 2,000 owner occupiers.

Donnelly said of her appointment she was passionate about making a positive difference to customers and communities and delivering a quality service that reflects their needs.

She added: “I am absolutely delighted to have been appointed. West of Scotland Housing Association is a people focused, progressive organisation with some exciting opportunities and challenges ahead. I can’t wait to get started.”

Katie McLeod, chair of West of Scotland Housing Association, said: “It is clear Lynne has an exceptional amount of experience and following a rigorous recruitment process, was a standout candidate for the role.

“Myself and the committee are looking forward to working with Lynne to build on the excellent work so far, ensure a bright future for West of Scotland Housing Association and help us in our aim to be a best in class housing association.”

Donnelly will take up the position at the beginning of October.
