​The good weather may be set to end - but Scots have been out and about enjoying glorious sunshine over the past few weeks.

However the mess created in public spaces by disposable barbecues has caused a stir - with regular clear-ups having to take place at parks such as the Meadows and Kelvingrove.

And one Edinburgh community group has called for a ban of the throwaway items, highlighting that they create a mess and are bad for the environment.
