Diwali Dinner
Scottish Love in Action
This event is in the past
Scottish Love in Action (SLA) are asking people to enjoy a Diwali Dinner with their household (and to invite friends and family online/over Zoom to join them) any night in November, to raise funds for the children and young people supported by SLA's grassroots NGO partners in India.
Each dinner guest is asked to donate an amount to SLA for the meal; any money raised will be matched pound for pound by SLA’s sponsor Truscott Property. Participants can choose to cook, have a pot-luck dinner, get a takeaway, or buy in a ready-meal.
To take part, participants register online for just £10 and receive a pack with a great-value ‘Spice Pots Curry Night Kit’ (containing 4 natural curry powder pots and 8 delicious recipes), indoor sparklers and tea lights so they can create their own special Diwali Dinner evening. When people send in their donations, they’ll be given the opportunity to enter a prize draw to win 4 VIP tickets to the SLA Fireworks Extravaganza 2021.
