This event is in the past
Join us on Thursday 7th December for YouthLink Scotland’s Annual Online Policy Convention, “Rally for youth work”, as we discuss the right to critical education in times of political uncertainty.
Knowledge and understanding across civic society of the crucial impact of youth work as a critical educational practice are needed. You will hear from youth work practitioners and people who have spent the year resisting cuts, campaigning on the positive impact of youth work in the lives of young people and the need to invest in youth work services. This is essential in the context of Education Reform in Scotland.
This event will connect youth work practice with policy professionals and elected representatives. We will consider the need to put in place statutory protections to ensure all young people have a right to youth work opportunities as we continue to build the #InvestInYouthWork campaign.
Investment in the youth work sector is necessary, to deter against further breaches of young people’s rights. If you agree, please consider saving the date and joining us on the day.
