Supporting LGBTI children and young people: awareness and inclusion
Children in Scotland
This event is in the past
Join us for this webinar to learn more about LGBTI identities and experiences and how you can support the LGBTI children and young people you work with. Through a combination of presentation and facilitated discussion, participants will explore some of the inequalities, barriers, and challenges faced by LGBTI children and young people, how they may manifest, and practical ways you can create LGBTI inclusive spaces. This interactive session is an opportunity for professionals whose work directly or indirectly supports LGBTI children and young people to improve their understanding and work collaboratively to identify inclusive solutions and good practices from a range of environments within the children’s sector. The session will include opportunities for discussions in smaller breakout rooms and to ask questions.
