CPAG in Scotland
This event is in the past
Attendance allowance (AA) is the main disability benefit for people who have reached pension age. Getting an award of AA can significantly increase income and so it is a crucial benefit for older people. This course will give you an understanding of the main rules and help you to identify people who may be entitled. The course is aimed at advisers with little or no experience of AA.
The course covers:
Who is entitled to AA
How to claim
Some ‘knock-on’ effects of getting an award of AA
This half-day introductory level course will be delivered online via Zoom from 10am to 1pm with a half hour break from 11.15 – 11.45.
