Developing a Volunteer Strategy Training
Volunteer Scotland
This event is in the past
This is a one-day course where we’ll discuss the purpose of developing a strategy for volunteering, the benefits of a volunteering strategy for the wider organisation, and steps to develop a strategy.
A strategy provides direction, enabling people to work towards achieving organisational goals. This course will address the purpose and benefits of developing a strategy specifically for volunteering.
We’ll look at examples of organisations who have volunteering strategies, to learn what works well and consider the best approach to take. Building on your experience as a leader, we’ll talk about how you can influence others and develop a successful volunteering strategy for your organisation.
