Creating Hope with Peer Support - online information session

Scottish Recovery Network

This event is in the past

The Creating Hope with Peer support project will work with others to boost peer support groups in communities Scotland. It will help to build capacity so that people and families affected by suicide can receive help at the earliest opportunity.

Peer support provides space, compassion and hope for people in crisis and also for those affected by suicide. Connecting with others with similar experiences provides a place where people can share, be listened to, and heard. It helps people to see that they are not alone. This mutual sharing is powerful in that we can be supported while also supporting others on their journey.

We are interested in working with individuals and organisations across sectors who support people affected by suicide. We want to hear from people who are already doing fantastic work in their community as well as those looking for an innovative approach to suicide prevention.

Get involved

Are you a group, organisation or service interested in being directly involved? Do you work with people who you believe would want to be involved?

Take an hour out of your day and come along to one of our online information sessions to find out more. The session will also be a chance for you to share your valuable learning, experiences, and ideas with us to help shape the projects activities.

Please note both sessions on 16 and 17 May are the same.

Online security and wellbeing
