Great Homes Great Support Conference
Scottish Federation of Housing Associations
This event is in the past
A joint learning event with a practical focus from SFHA, Homeless Network Scotland and HSEU
With rising homelessness, rising numbers of people in temporary accommodation and reductions in the Affordable Housing Supply Programme, housing associations will be transported back to the very origins of their community-led movement in Scotland; to provide great homes and great support for people in housing need.
Today, there is a fresh call to think strategically – and very practically – about what more we can do to resolve homelessness and support people to live successfully in their homes.
In this challenging time for housing and homelessness, this event will set out current government plans to end homelessness and look at the role for the housing and third sector in preventing homelessness with practical examples of how we can make a difference.
It is aimed at housing and support colleagues who want to find out more and explore what they might be able to do to make an impact on this housing emergency.
