Universal credit (UC) changes all the time, as the law is updated, tribunals and courts interpret the law, and it is implemented in practice. This course is an opportunity for experienced advisers to get up to date with the latest developments. You will be able to share experiences of UC and discuss legal and practical approaches to best support clients.
The course covers:
Recent changes to the legislation and caselaw affecting UC
Current legal challenges
Common practical problems in UC and tactics to tackle them
This course is aimed at experienced advisers in Scotland confident dealing with legislation and covering issues in detail.
The course will be delivered online via Zoom from 10am to 1pm each day with a half hour break from 11.15 – 11.45.
