ACOSVO

Led by: Carla Miller, Leadership Coach & Author

*Thanks to funding from the Scottish Government, we are delighted to be able to offer this event at a significantly reduced rate for ACOSVO Members*

Note: This session is open to both members and non-members.

This session will bring men and leaders on a journey of allyship and create a space for positive and constructive discussions about creating a workplace where women can thrive. It is also relevant to women who will recognise that gender bias impacts them and will be empowered to recognise that some challenges they face are not in fact personal to them. The talk recognises the fact that not everyone identifies as male or female and acknowledges that women are a diverse group and experiences differ within that group due to intersectionality.

Key takeaways:

-Why allyship and recognising gender bias matters

-What men can do as colleagues from allyship in meetings to sharing the office housework

-What managers and leaders can do from, giving unbiased feedback to sponsorship

-What men can do as family members and friends
