SCVO

This event is in the past

Throughout the webinar, there will be a mix of presentation and discussion. At various points we'll stop to talk about your own experiences, and there'll be plenty of time for questions. We'll also have a group discussion/task to develop your skills.

Overview

Do you worry about giving feedback to your team? Do you get nervous about finding the right things to say, or how to handle a challenging meeting? Then this webinar is for you!

Join the HR service team and our guest speaker, Ann Rowe (Head of Comms for SCVO and a qualified coach, accredited with the Association for Coaching) for a practical, considered approach to these interactions. We'll set you up with the tools to have courageous conversations, and have them well.

Overall aim

By the end of this online session, you will:

  • Have the tools to provide constructive, actionable feedback
  • Know the right questions to ask to get to the route of the issue
  • Learn what active listening really means and how to do it
Who is the event aimed at?

This is for anyone having conversations at work! There will be something valuable for every level, in particular for those with line management responsibilities who want to practice their approach to challenging interactions with their teams.
