Two new members sought
Scottish ministers plan to recruit two new members to the Scottish Housing Regulator’s board.
They will replace members whose terms will end in March 2019. Ministers will launch recruitment in late summer.
George Walker, chair of the Scottish Housing Regulator said: “This is a great opportunity to influence the shape of social housing regulation. We will be working with Scottish ministers to recruit two new members to start with the regulator in 2019.
“Tenants are at the heart of our work, so we hope to recruit a current tenant and also someone with experience or involvement in providing social housing services.
"We will promote these opportunities widely to attract candidates from all walks of life; with a range of viewpoints and life experiences.”
The Scottish Housing Regulator is led by a board of non-executives members appointed by Scottish ministers. The board sets the regulator’s strategic direction and has responsibility for governance and oversight.
