Rob takes over from Marie Hayes who retires after 11 years leading the organisation’s Health and Crisis Response services across Scotland.

They are now looking for new premises while it works from temporary premises nearby, but has warned that the costs of rent are prohibitive. 

The announcement comes alongside confirmation that workers at the charity will receive a 9% pay rise.

The legislation would allow Ministers to write regulations in any services within six sectors that will force workers to work during strike action. 

The charity is running Big Energy Saving Winter, a campaign encouraging people worried about energy bills and the cost of living to seek advice.
